What we're after

Original devices wanted.

Most buyers say "we buy phones" and work out the problems after your box arrives. We'd rather tell you up front exactly what we want, so nothing about this is a surprise later.

Exactly what we want

iPhone 14 and newer, iPad Pro, MacBook
Original, unrepaired devices
Untouched customer trade-ins
Locked to any carrier
Still on a payment plan
Cracked back glass

A carrier lock or an outstanding balance doesn't disqualify a device here. Most buyers won't touch either.

Not a fit, and why

Replaced screens, batteries or housings
Cracked screens — the repair outruns the margin
Water damage — too unpredictable to price honestly
Won't power on
Still locked to an Apple ID

Mixed lots aren't a dead end — they go to a buyer for manual review instead of an automated quote, so you get a real number rather than a rejection.

How it goes

Four steps, and you can stop at any of them.

1

Tell us what you have

One device or a hundred. Model, condition, whether anything's been replaced. About a minute, and no contact details until the end.

2

We come back with a number

Same-day quote. A buyer reads your answers and sends one figure—not a range and not “up to.” You can say yes or no.

3

Ship free, or meet us

Accept, and your prepaid tracked label arrives within the hour. Drop it at any UPS point. Prefer an in-person handoff? We meet at a police-station safe exchange zone—never a private address.

4

We inspect, then pay

Inspection starts the day your box arrives. Payment goes out the same day inspection finishes. You see results device by device, and any grading difference is explained before money moves.

Why sellers come back

Four things you can count on.

Anyone can quote you once. What makes a place worth sending inventory to, over and over, is that nothing surprises you.

Predictable grading

The standard doesn't move. You know before you ship exactly what passes and what doesn't, so nothing is a matter of opinion once your box is open.

No silent deductions

Your quote reflects today’s market. If inspection finds a difference, you see the evidence and exact dollar change before choosing payment or a free tracked return.

You hear it first

A person answers. If something is off you hear it from us before it costs you anything, not after you've chased it.

Paid on inspection

By a method you chose up front, the day your inventory clears. No holding, no drift, no silence.

Getting paid

Paid the way you already get paid.

Payment goes out once inspection is done. You pick the method up front, before anything ships, so there's nothing to negotiate at the end.

Familiar platform

You choose the method before you ship, not after we've got your inventory. It's recorded against your account, so on the second lot and every one after it there's nothing to arrange — it just goes out.

The standard

The grading standard, published.

You should know how a device will be graded before you pack it, not after we've inspected it. These four are the whole standard, and they don't move.

A
Like new

No visible wear at arm's length. Screen and body unmarked. Fully functional, every part original.

B
Light wear

Faint scuffs or micro-scratches you have to look for. No cracks anywhere. Fully functional, every part original.

C
Visible wear

Obvious scratches, dents or cracked back glass. Screen still crack-free. Fully functional, every part original.

D
Manual review

Replaced parts, a functional fault, or damage past cosmetic. Not a rejection — a buyer prices it instead of the standard programme.

Every device is graded against these four, one at a time, and you see the result line by line.

When we disagree

Your grade, our grade, and what happens in between.

The arrival-day re-quote is the oldest move in this business: agree a number, receive the devices, find a reason. Here is exactly what happens here instead, in writing, before you ship anything.

1

You grade it. We grade it.

Your list says what you believe each device is. Our bench checks every one against the four tiers above — the same four you just read, not a private version of them.

2

If the two don't match, you see why.

You see the device, the photo, the grading line it missed, and the exact dollar difference—device by device, never as one lump-sum deduction. You see all of it before any money moves.

3

Then you choose. Not us.

Accept the revised amount and payment goes out the same day. Decline it and your device ships back free the same day, on our label, with tracking. No restocking fee. No handling charge. No argument.

Our monthly re-quote rate

Every month we post the share of devices we re-quoted after inspection.

Not a slogan — a figure, taken from our own inspection records, published whether it flatters us or not. A buying desk that re-grades everything on arrival cannot survive its own number being public. The first figure posts on 1 October 2026.

DMV Wholesale

Moving 10 or more, regularly?

Then you're not looking for a quote. You're looking for somewhere dependable to put inventory, week after week, without it becoming a project every time.

Send the list

Spreadsheet, typed in, or hand it to a buyer on a call. However you already keep it.

A buyer, not a form

Serious volume gets a person who knows the numbers and answers the phone.

Device-by-device results

You see what passed and what didn't, line by line, so nothing is a matter of opinion.

Standing relationship

Regular supply gets priority inspection and a buyer who already knows your stock, so nothing needs re-explaining.

Nobody sensible ships thousands of dollars of inventory to a company they've never dealt with. So don't. Start with a test lot of three to five qualifying devices and watch exactly how we work before anything bigger moves.

Sent an iPhone 15 Pro from Ohio on the Monday label. Graded Wednesday morning, money in my Cash App before lunch. It came back a tier below what I'd guessed and they showed me the scuff rather than just telling me about it.

We move 60 to 80 units a month across two stores. Started with a five-device test lot because I wasn't handing a stranger a pallet. Two years on they get everything. What keeps us there is that the grading doesn't move — I can quote my own customers accurately because I know what they'll call it.

Half our stock is customer trade-ins, half is stuff we've had apart. They took both — the repaired units just went to a buyer instead of the automated quote. First place that didn't simply say no.

What are you selling?

A few questions, then a real number back from a person.

Before you ask

The questions we get most.

What counts as "original"?
Nothing replaced. No aftermarket screen, battery, housing or back glass. If a device has had work done it isn't out of the question — it just goes to a buyer for manual review rather than an automated quote, because parts change the number too much for a formula to be honest about it.
You buy devices that are still financed?
Yes, and it's the question we get most. A balance owed to a carrier is between the seller and them — it doesn't stop the hardware being sold. The balance stays with you, so account for it before accepting. What we won't do is use it as a reason to refuse you.
What happens if something grades differently?
You hear it from us before anything else happens, with the specific device and the specific reason. You can accept the revised figure or decline it, and if you decline, it goes back to you. Nothing gets quietly adjusted after the fact.
I've got inventory every week. Is this set up for that?
That's the part of the business we care most about. Answer "I have inventory regularly" on the first question and it routes you to the wholesale desk rather than the consumer flow — different questions, a buyer instead of an autoresponder, and grading and terms you already know.
Who's responsible if a package goes missing?
Until it reaches us, the shipment is between you and the carrier. That's the standard arrangement and we won't pretend otherwise — which is exactly why every label we send is tracked, so there's a record from the moment you hand it over. On a high-value lot, declare the value with the carrier before you ship. Once it arrives it's ours: someone is there to receive it, and inspection starts the same day rather than sitting in a queue for a week.
If we meet in person, where?
A police-station safe exchange zone, or a staffed store car park in daylight — the same places any sensible person would pick. We don't do doorstep meets and we won't ask you to come to a private address. Honestly, most local sellers still take the prepaid label: it's tracked, it's documented, and nobody has to drive anywhere.
Why won't you take a cracked screen?
Because a screen replacement usually costs more than the margin left in the device, so any number we could offer would be too low to be worth your time. A cracked back is different — it barely moves the resale value and we buy those all day.
Are you actually local, or is that just marketing?
Laurel, Maryland, buying since 2019, trading as Fosmavic LLC. The nationwide mail-in side exists because sellers outside the DMV kept asking, not the other way round. What we don't run is a walk-in counter — which is why handovers work the way they do above.
What about the data on the devices?
Wipe them before they ship — that part is on you, and it's the safest arrangement for both of us. Sign out of the Apple ID, switch Find My off, and factory reset. We check Find My is off as part of inspection and we'll tell you if it isn't, but we can't take responsibility for data left on a device. If you're sending customer trade-ins, make wiping part of your intake so nothing ever leaves your shop carrying someone else's information.

Find out what it's worth.

About a minute. Nothing committed until you say yes.
